Shopping process done through NFT mint (purchase). Each NFT minted also buys physical merchandise. By minting NFT, you now have a unique token that can be used to verify ownership. Mailing info is then inputted along with crypto wallet address which is then verified to ensure they are the owner/purchaser. By creating your storefront using web3 you eliminate the intermediary such as Amazon, Shopify, Ebay, credit card networks, and payment processors who take fees. Now the money is sent directly from customer to person selling. The customer is the one who will pay small fee ($0.0025) to process the transaction on blockchain network. Because everything is stored on the blockchain users can easily view history and data.

Pop Up Shop NFT created to test web3 shopping is an online storefront tied to Solana blockchain, that partners with established NFT communities to sell custom limited release merch. The merch is designed with the help of the community DAO in collaboration. Pesky Penguins was the first partner and use case example. We designed an embroidered hat along with NFT that is a 3D render image of the physical hat. 148 NFT/hats were sold in one week. 37 SOL ($7,400 as of writing) was raised at .25 Sol per NFT/hat. We shipped to 25 different countries, showing the global decentralized reach of NFTs and cryptocurrency networks. Using only Discord and Twitter for communication. Purchases were verified by wallet address and mailed out to given shipping addresses. No names or credit cards were taken. Purchases done using cryptocurrency SOL.
